Gabriele Penazzi

Gabriele Penazzi, PhD, is a psychologist and former psychotherapist specializing in Gestalt therapy, with a particular interest in treating patients affected by pathological addictions and psychiatric conditions such as psychoses. He earned his PhD in Cognitive Science at the Department of Psychology and Cognitive Science of the University of Trento. His research focuses on investigating different types of non-ordinary states of consciousness from both neurophysiological and phenomenological perspectives, with a special focus on the effects induced by breathing practices and sensory stimulation techniques.
